ABOUT

Kelly Murray is a multidisciplinary storyteller whose diverse portfolio of work includes contributions in art, film, and creative writing. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in English Literature and History from the University of Delaware. Her love of travel, history, and literature is prevalent in her work.

She has been working in the marketing/advertising field for more than 10 years as a marketing communications writer with experience in the fashion, lifestyle, architecture, and travel industries. As a freelance writer, her original short stories and editorials have been published in a variety of travel and lifestyle publications such as Odyssa Magazine, The WC Press, and Accidentally Wes Anderson.

An independent filmmaker in her free time, Kelly has written and directed multiple short narrative and documentary films. Her films have screened in museums and film festivals throughout the United States. In 2016, her debut short film The Astronomer was selected for a video exhibit at The Delaware Contemporary and received the Curatorial Choice Award (Best in Show). She is currently an Executive Board Member of the nonprofit Philadelphia Women in Film & Televison (PWIFT).
